At
Golfers Advantage, I have always tried to stay on the leading edge of technology. TrackMan™ has set new standards for golf ball and golf club measurements. Based on Doppler radar technology, TrackMan™ measures the exact 3-dimensional club movement and ball flight, and provides precise measured data on the club delivery and the ball launch. TrackMan™ is the most sophisticated piece of golf fitting equipment ever designed and it allows golfers an insider's viewpoint into a true "Tour Experience". In order to take real advantage of such a unique tool, I am offering a personalized series of fitting sessions for the avid golfer. If you're motivated to improve your game, think about coming in for your own individual TrackMan™ session.

One of the most important questions you need to be able to answer is "how far do you hit your clubs”? In order to know which club to hit in a certain situation, you need to know your distances. Until now, it has been almost impossible to accurately gauge these measurements on your own.
During this session, you will hit a series of shots with every club in your bag. The data obtained gives you the relevant information to help you make the correct club selection on the golf course. It also will reveal the gaps and overlaps in your set. Solutions to distance and gapping issues are examined. Often iron and wedge lofts may need to be adjusted as well as replacing or eliminating overlapping clubs.
In addition this session can point out potential problems like incorrect lie angles which can create accuracy issues with certain clubs. |

Golf magazines and club manufacturers have been talking about the importance of "launch angle" for several years now. The launch angle of your golf ball is important, but equally important is the angle that your ball descends and the spin rate of the ball. All of these factors along with ball speed determine the distance of your drive.
Until recently, no launch monitor could give you the descent angle for the simple reason that no machine could track the ball until it landed. TrackMan™ changes all of that. By measuring the entire flight of the ball, TrackMan™ allows me to accurately determine the descent angle of the ball and better fit you so that you get maximum carry and roll from your drives.
The amount of ball spin effects how the golf ball lifts into the air. Too little spin and the ball loses carry distance; too much spin and the ball loses carry and roll. The closer your driver comes to optimal spin rates, the closer you can come to maximum overall distance.
The driver fitting gives me the ability to match your swing with the appropriate type of clubhead and shaft to optimize your new driver’s performance.
Components of your swing that are considered in fitting are your swing speed, tempo and release point. These items are key in selecting the proper shaft and are all measured during a driver fitting.
During the driver fitting, you will use numerous test clubs with interchangeable shafts so that you get the best possible combination for your driver. At the conclusion of the fitting, you will know the appropriate club specifications for your swing.

“I just realized that I had not given you a report on the driver and 3 wood. I can not do it justice in words. I am completely satisfied with both, but would have to say the 3 wood has now replaced my 8 iron as the favorite club in the bag.”
- T. Bell Michigan
“Prior to the purchase of the driver, 3, 5 and 7 woods from the club fitting you did I was lucky to break 90. With the new clubs I am now scoring in the low eighties. 80-83 consistently. Thank you for your help, golf is more enjoyable now…..”

TrackMan Iron Fitting |
As with the driver, selecting and fitting irons requires collecting data on ball speed, launch and spin rates and carry distance. After TrackMan™ collects this data I will help you determine which style of iron heads will perform the best for you. Do you need offset or a wide sole? A blade or an oversize cavity-back or something in between? These questions are all answered during your fitting.
While clubhead design is extremely important most of the time spent in any of the fittings is dedicated to shaft characteristics. Once the proper head type is determined you will try the head with numerous different shafts. The results will be recorded using TrackMan™
When the testing is completed and the TrackMan™ data analyzed, I will determine the specifications for your new irons.

“I am extremely happy with my new irons. I am hitting them longer, straighter, and more confidently. I am hitting them 15 yards further than my previous set. I would absolutely recommend your services to anybody looking to improve their golf game”. Thanks again, - A. Luckey Florida

TrackMan Long Game Fitting
|
Do you need hybrid or fairway woods or some combination of both? Different golfers will perform better with different clubs, and the long game is critical to improving your game. The Long Game Fitting at Golfers Advantage will help you by measuring your performance with different types of clubs.
Fairway Woods:
While finding the correct shaft is critical for fitting fairway woods, finding that shaft isn't enough; we also need to determine both the correct type of fairway wood and the appropriate loft and head design.
Hybrids:
More and more golfers are using hybrids these days. As their popularity has grown, the variety of head and shaft types has also grown. Getting fitted for a hybrid makes sure that these "rescue" clubs are as easy and forgiving to hit as possible. Do you need offset? Are you better off with a fairway hybrid or an iron hybrid?

Since wedges are scoring clubs it is very important that they are fitted and gapped correctly.
Different course conditions require different wedges. So do different swings. I make sure that you are getting the right design and number of wedges so that your short game is always at it’s best.
TrackMan™ allows me to accurately measure the spin rates, height and distance from your wedges. This information helps me choose the correct wedges for you.
